Lower Tahquamenon Falls

Lower Tahquamenon Falls

One of the several waterfalls that comprise the lower falls on the Tahquamenon River tumble over bedrock and splay around a fallen log. Tannin from the surrounding cedar forest, leach into the river and color the water. Autumn colors dot the forest floor.
